Do you want to deepen your knowledge in History? Design and complete your own research project? Prepare more successfully for graduate school? And walk "with Honors" at FSU graduation?
Then the Honors in the Major Program is for you. With faculty members you will select a topic that you want to examine, develop a prospectus, and then plunge into research. Honors in the Major typically spans two to three semesters giving you plenty of time for writing and presenting your research findings. Completing Honors in the Major opens up opportunities to publicize your research to the History Department as well as to the University.
