Jordan Tsigas researched the history of the Greek immigrant community in the 1920s and 30s - relying on family documents as well as archival materials. Find out what it is like to take a senior seminar in history.

On average, we have 300 History majors each year. Students build community through the undergraduate History Club and the History Graduate Student Association.

In the past three years, faculty and graduate students won highly prestigious awards from the Stanford Humanities Center, The Newberry Library, The Smithsonian, the Fulbright program, and Dumbarton Oaks (a Harvard University Research Institute).
