Special Courses

Occasionally, faculty members offer "special topics" courses which address interests of particular interest to the faculty member or a collection of students. In addition, faculty members often offer Directed Individual Study (DIS) courses to an individual or small collection of students who want to study a topic on their own with a small amount of guidance from a faculty member. These DIS courses can be especially valuable to students who are writing their thesis or dissertation. For information on these "non-regular" or "special" courses, students should contact Chris Pignatiello, the graduate assistant.
